In this magazine Ferguson's theory is applied as it suggests that woman in the magazine are meant to be portrayed as beautiful. The magazine portrayed woman being aspirational as they give the tools, in this case, is the bottled beauty, this tool is given to the woman in the magazine to make them look beautiful, and the woman reading this will construct an image of how they should be looking. Furthermore, the article features a woman who is using the product, she looks beautiful and is showing another woman reader how they should be looking. Moreover, Ferguson's theory is applied to that in many different ways, such as in the image we can see the woman touching her face, this can symbolise that the woman on the cover is suggesting that woman are meant to be more beautiful. As she touches her face with makeup she is suggesting that point. Furthermore, the image can symbolise that using the bottle beauty product will simply give you the ideal more beautiful look that the woman needs.
Additionally, in the image of the woman surfing the theory of Ferguson can be shown, in the image the woman is wearing a bikini and her body is looking perfect. Therefore, this symbolises that to look more appealing woman are meant to have good looking bodies so that they look more beautiful, and if they look more appealing then more males will aspire to have them. Furthermore, the advert suggests that if you eat the products that are portrayed in the advert, then you would get the body you aspire to have. This symbolises that in order to look more beautiful woman are considered to eat healthy foods and drink healthy. Therefore, the magazine symbolises how woman are meant to be shown to society and how they are meant to be looking for the media. Lastly, the magazine shows how the ideal summer is supposed to be for a woman, that ideal body will make them look more appealing. Therefore the magazine put forward the product they need to get that ideal summer body.
In Beuty and the beast the beast himself is represented as a tokenistic character, We know this as the beast is a monster who has been cursed from the evil witch and only the true love can turn him back into a prince. Therefore, the beast is providing superficial understanding to the audience, they will think because he is a monster he won't be able to get the true love kiss.Therefore, the audience are under-representing the character as they think he is not equal as Bell is the. So, therefore, the audience are making the character look like a tokenistic character as the beast is shown as lower than Bell is, he is in inclusivity, he feels is not the right place to be kissing a noblewoman, which makes him the tokenistic character.

In this magazine we can see the model being whitewashed, this means that the lighting and the editing are used to match her skin colour, they appear to be whitewashed as her skin tone is matching the background of the magazine, which makes her look lighter than her original skin tone. The magazine might of done this in order to make the woman look more appealing to the audinces, they might of wanted her to llik lighter then she is in order to make her look more beautiful or presentable for the audinces that will be attracted to the magazine it self. Therefore they created all these effects to make her look more presentable for the male/female auinces.
