Band-Aid- Do they know is Christmas
In this advert, we see images kid and families that cannot cope with the situation they are in, in more simple words we can see poverty video. Furthermore, the lyrics of the advert suggest 'Do they even know is Christmas time at all' this can illustrate that the families that in poor conditions do not even realise that is Christmas because they are that hungry and need support, they need direct support from people that are wealthier and can manage to spare some food and clothing for their community. Moreover, Bunch of people gathered to help the hungry families in Africa at Christmas time. Alvardo theory can be presented here as the people pitied the people in Africa and went out to help them to have clothes and food in order to have good Christmas. Additionally, the adverts lyrics also suggest 'feed the world' which can emphasise that Band-aid wants every person in the world to be happily fed and with home, they want to make the world a better place.

Oxfam-It all starts with you
In this advert, we can compare it to the Band-Aid one because the families still need support from us in order to help them have a better life and have a better education. However, we can contrast that this time we do not see any unpleasant images, what we see is a woman that has grown crops and sells them and they make money and by making money it provides the children with education. This time we see the children running happily around and smiling instead of being sad and negative. In the advert, the voice over suggests 'its all because of you'  this can illustrate that we are the ones supporting the people that need food and help and we are the ones giving them the resources.

 Beast of no nation
In beast of no nation the child is trying to sell a Tv this can suggest they had no money and they were poor, instead of giving them money the guy gave them food supplies which can also illustrate that they were having a rough time as they were hungry and needed something to eat. Furthermore, when the war broke out the child had to run away from home and join troops that rebelled to save their country, These troops instead of civilising  the  child they trained him to be a war machine and kill other, this can go towards Alvardo theory because that situation was dangerous situation they are placing each other on, this can illustrate that the people wanted to be saved and had to fight to be saved otherwise they would be killed themselves and there won't be hope for their country.

A relationship between the lyrics and the visuals. In this part of the music video we can see a long shot of an elderly woman seating on the piano. Furthermore, we can see a small box on top of the piano. This links to Goodwin's theory as in the video we can hear the woman saying 'should we see what Dizzee Rascal is doing today boys and girls' and then straight afterwards she also says 'He is such a Racal' and then we see Dizzee Rascal come out the box. In this magazine Ferguson's theory is applied as it suggests that woman in the magazine are meant to be portrayed as beautiful. The magazine portrayed woman being aspirational as they give the tools, in this case, is the bottled beauty, this tool is given to the woman in the magazine to make them look beautiful, and the woman reading this will construct an image of how they should be looking. Furthermore, the article features a woman who is using the product, she looks beautiful and is showing another woman reader how they should be looking. Moreover, Ferguson's theory is applied to that in many different ways, such as in the image we can see the woman touching her face, this can symbolise that the woman on the cover is suggesting that woman are meant to be more beautiful. As she touches her face with makeup she is suggesting that point. Monthly magazines are seen as more aspirational as their content and images are more aspiring to people as they look up to that person. Furthermore, monthly magazines due to their budget they can afford better qualitty paper, they have more luxurious look and feel which can mean they can engage their audiences as their magazines include high fashion models and better quality quotes, which means the audiance will inspire to look up to them and be like that model.
