The use of over the shoulder shot can suggest that George is not welcomed into the house, that he is an outsider an unwanted figure for his family. Moreover, the use back lighting on Georges head can illustrate that he wants to show his good side to them and show them who he really is now. However, the darker lighting inside the house is bigger which can suggest that the wife knows he is not changed and is pushing him away with evilness. Lastly, the kids facial expression can suggest that is horrified and scared what she is seeing in front of her face, she don’t like the way they are fighting, she is looking directly at the mother which can suggest that she has never seen her mother this way and is sacred of her mother’s evil side.

The use of throwing the bin an portray lot of meaning in a viewers mind. It illustrates that Georges life was trash and he wants to be welcomed home. However, his family still find him not professional and don’t want him back in their life. Moreover, we can suggest the bin can mean that George himself knows his life was trash and wants forgiveness from his family. However, he himself knows they won’t forgive him for who he is. Additionally, we can symbolise the bin as Georges past and he is throwing it at the door to show he does not want that anymore an wants to change for the better good, he wants to make his family happy.
